SAMPLE PRAYER LETTER
➡ One of the main questions that people have is, “How am I going to raise enough money to go?”…There are lots of ways to raise money, but one of the most effective ways is to share your need with your church, your family, your friends, and anyone else who’ll listen. Write a prayer letter asking folks to pray and giving them an opportunity to partner with you by giving towards your trip. Here’s an example of a prayer letter one of our 516Missions Trippers wrote for a recent trip to Kenya: Sample Sponsorship Letter. Feel free to use this as a guide to customize your own.
PASSPORT APPLICATION
➡Make sure your Passport is Valid. Whether you are applying for a new passport or renewing one, we recommend that you apply three (3) months before your scheduled trip to avoid delays and/or expedite fees. You can go to http://travel.state.gov/passport to download the application.
IMMUNIZATIONS
➡Immunizations are recommended no later than 2-3 weeks before departure for international trips only. For a list of countries and immunization requirements, please visit the CDC Website.
