Our Story
516Missions is a ministry of Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello, Arkansas. Our desire is to broker short term opportunities that have long term impact in the mission fields we venture into. The way we do this is through short term mission trip experiences at mission points where we have a connection with a local church planter or missionary. Our aim with every trip is to establish an ongoing relationship with the missionary/church planter and the community in which he or she serves.
516 comes from Matthew 5:16-“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Our ultimate goal in all we do is to point everyone we meet to the one true God and to tell the story of His great Love and to share His Son Jesus Christ. We want to lock arms with other local New Testament churches and create a network of pastors, missionaries, and lay people who affect eternity together.
We believe that God’s already given the command to GO (Matthew 28:18-20) so it’s not really a matter of “should we?” or “shouldn’t we?”, but a matter of WHEN and WHERE. Will you obey God’s command and GO with us?
Whether you want to create a trip for your own group/church, come with us, or want help developing a culture of GO-ers at your church, we want to partner with you so you can “do” short term missions without losing your mind!
